Hello there,
Even though we accept donations to support our Ezboard forums, there have been a lot of people over the years who have asked me how they can donate to the actual website itself. After consideration, I have decided to offer such a method.
We have maintained our stance of being non-profit. Because of this, website expenses alone have caused somewhat of a burden over the years. Maintaining the webspace and domains roughly costs about $200 to $300 a year, while our two Ezboard forums generally cost around $120 a year. For the last four years or so, I have been paying all the general website costs while some people have generously helped me financially with the forums.
I have also realized it is probably a very good idea to start saving for future projects this organization may find desirable. If we are going to do such projects, especially offline projects, I know I cannot do this alone.
It is because of these reasons we will now offer Paypal donations. You can use the Paypal donation option to donate to the Jedi Organization Donation Fund (JODF).
All money (100%) donated to the JODF will be used solely for JEDI expenses or for JEDI funding projects associated for people participating at the website. We will never use it to pay expenses not related to JEDI.
You can donate any amount and do so as many times as you prefer. Even if it is just a dollar, it will definitely help. If you decide to donate, you can even let us know what you desire the donation to benefit. We will do our best to follow your wishes.
For security reasons, I have made the Paypal donation link encrypted. Also make note that the Username for our Paypal account is "StrangePoint."
