![]() Truth is a very elusive topic. As spiritually minded people, we tend to always be in the pursuit of truth. Who or what are we? What is our potential? What is the Force? What is God? What is a Jedi? Are we Jedi at all? While our questions may differ from those of other ways of life, our similarities, no matter what religion we follow, lies in the fact that we ask questions, that we seek meaning in the intangible, that we seek truth. Unfortunately, the Jedi are only one in a billion different beliefs, and so we cannot claimas some have amongst the Jedi and especially those amongst other religionsthat our ways are the true way and none other is. As a relatively new way of looking at life, the Jedi philosophies and those who follow them should not only be completely open to others' perspectives, but also open to the idea that we may be wrong. This section of the Jedi Creed is for the analyzation of Truth, to discuss truths outside of the Jedi community, and comparisons between them. It's purpose is not in claiming what is truth and what is not, but to contemplate the very idea of truth, as well as the possible causes of differing beliefs, their roots, and how they function, with the intention to develope a better understanding of eachother for personal growth. ...Streen
