The United Jedi Council

Relan Volkum and Streen began to have more personalized discussions with one another while Mitth'raw'nurida gave further attention to Star-Network. They both conceived it was time to start a project based on uniting the existing websites together. This was based on the belief there existed a community, a Jedi Community, mainly composed of the Jedi Academy, Force Academy, Jedi Creed, referred to as the "Big Three."

This founded a project called the United Jedi Council.

The idea of the UJC was then brought up to Mitth'raw'nurida and Winter, who agreed to its action. The four became very active towards the project. A composed list of people were created and contacted by Streen. Mitth created an area on the Creed forum which acted as a meeting place. A symbol was also created by Relan on December 14th, 1999.

On December 21st, 1999, the UJC was born. There were seven constituents: Mitth'raw'nurida, Relan Volkum, WinterHeart, Streen, Gedi, Jae, and Shinobi. Andrew (Andy) Watson of the Force Academy, along with Odan Urr, decided to pull out. The Jedi Academy, represented by Deean Kett, decided not to attend. There were other potentials as well.

An order was created by Relan Volkum and Streen, its preamble stating: "We are Jedi. We are the gatekeepers of destiny." and that "We are never alone when we are one with the Force." The last part was based on a previous quote Streen had given.

Here is an excerpt from one of the E-mails, written by Gedi, during the meetings:

"Jedi Relan has given his vision, so I must give mine. Our anthology of knowledge will become the new 'encyclopedia' of Jedi and the Force ... I feel that we should delve into our personal experiences with the Force ... time is of the essence, and similar to Volkum, I am a strong believer in the full usage of resources. We all have certain aspects of the Force that interest us more than others. Although we are supposed to understand and comprehend all levels of serenity, we have a deeper love for some. Use that to decide what you want to concentrate on."

Gedi was not far from the truth. Although the UJC lasted only a few months, if it had not been for its existence and its constituents, much would not have taken place - for it had created a trend, leading to the creation of many groups. This included the JEDI website.
