Many things depend on our own point of view...
This place is designed for those who wish to share their knowledge.
And now embark to the places of those who shared their wisdom with us.
...The Jedi Creed
Should Jedi work for government?
I have had many ambitions when I started training as a Jedi. At first I was full of fervor from the "Episode I" movie, and then I began to take it more seriously. I have had many a dream of the Jedi being a branch of military or a chivalric order for some countries. Now, I know that the Jedi are for now no more of an obscure secret society, and if you tell people you are a Jedi, then they will probably treat you like a retard.

Awareness
Always be aware of the liveing things around you. Use your knowledge as well as the Force that guides you to recognise dangers and opportunities for you. Knowledge and exasperance will seperate a man from a dead man.

The Ritual
Skar Kjoil, a frequent visitor to our site, wanted to find someway of, kinda, becoming a part of it. Now this has been done by his contribution. This text was something he wrote, inspired by the event when a Jedi constructs his lightsaber. The meditation process. But it can also be percieved in other ways.

"The Respect of Life"
As a Jedi one must have a certain respect for all life; no matter how small or how big; no matter how ugly or how beautiful.
You can find out more about Sai-Dev's thoughts when reading "The Respect of Life",
"Not Forgetting Death", "Arrogance", "Courtesy", and "The Honor of Death" at the link below...

"The Jedi pride themselves on being wholly good, being completely off the 'light' side, yet they too are plagued by their own point of view. They say that the Dark Ones must be confronted, must be defeated, yet should the Jedi not crave such things? Who are the jedi to tell us who are evil and who are bad? Why should we automatically be led by the Jedi that the Sith were evil? The Jedi's point of view is that the Sith should be exterminated before they rise again, but again, who are the jedi to tell us what is right from wrong?"

The most skilled Fallen Jedi conquers the Force, or thinks he does.
The most skilled Jedi conquers himself, and knows he does.

Understanding the principles of the Force
First to use the force we must know what it is. ...Energy...Plain and simple.
Everything in the universe from dirt, humans, the sky, trees, and even space are all made of matter.Once matter is broken down to it's smallest parts we have positive and negative protons surronding a nucleus thus creating an atom. Everything in the universe is made from these tiny particles.Atoms are all pure energy, so hence all things are pure energy.

What is our Destiny?
What are we doing?
Why are we doing it?
Why do we become Jedi?
Have we become Jedi just to live like they would have in the movies?
Is this some weird childhood dream that we in some foolish way are trying to create for ourselves?....

The Force
Its power may seem beyond you at times, it may seem to be an impossible
goal to become a Force Master, or even to simply touch this eatheral energy
field that is so fabled.

The path of the Jedi...
We all have a different path in the force, for all things diverse have
their own places...However how we walk those paths is up to us.
The same path for one person can be heaven or hell at one time or another.
We recognize this as perception, as our minds interpreting life around us
to the specifications that have been built into us by the circumstances and
experiences of our lives.

"The biggest revenge...is forgiveness, a Jedi must indeed master this."
"To revenge is to unleash your anger, fear and agression."
"The galaxy is vast, but there is not room for luck."
"No one can be born master..."
"Everyone wishes to become a master...not an apperentice."
"As the master's way is...so will the apperentices."
"The dark side does not need to proclaim it's victims...the victims come to it."
"A short lightsaber is often wielded by the wisest and bravest."
"The lightsaber can hurt even when it is not drawn."
...CoBack/Jedgar
"As you explore the ways of the Force, remember the Jedi religion is more a way of life not a faith. Faith is the belief in something without proof, we know the Force to exsist by the exsistence of ourselves and the things around us."
...Gray
"Fear the unborn ones... You cannot look at that what you cannot see."
"The rules of the Force will be revealed, my friend - and not some little rules that you wish to gather and to explore while you cannot create the mystery. Believe, and trust. Come, and obey. And the master will look upon you... or crush you under his forceful feet. "
...Death at Heavensgate
"It is not what a man does now that makes him a man. It is what he does his whole entire life that makes him one."
...Jun-Sing Lee
"Seek reparations, not revenge"
"Jedi is merely a title, easily proclaimed by many. It is those who dedicate themselves to understanding and acting upon all that being a Jedi demands, that makes them one"
"To develop the best attitude in your quest for happiness, ask yourself two questions. What do I profit from wronging others? What do I prosper from righting others?"
"When connected to the force, you are one with others as they are one with you. Unity will always be prevalent among all other things."
"Evil exists in all beings. It is those who choose to embrace all that is good which decides the life they will lead. The light side of the force may be harder to attain at times, but the outcome of that choice is a reward for all the effort that is put forth."
"One may dwell in the past or present. But in the end, all must look toward the future."
"Avoid confrontation at all costs. Make peace with others. Revenge is but a sweet bite of an otherwise rotten apple"
...Davek Eldron
"A Jedi controls his feelings.Otherwise they control him. The Dark ones know no such control."
...Johann Kenobi
"What clarifies a Jedi is the faith that he clings on to - the faith
of a Force that exists within the universe. What determines his
ability and dexterity is his mental as well as physical awareness
that the Force exists within himself."
...Jedi Relan Volkum
"It inflicts fear. It produces aggression. It embraces anger. It releases hate. It cripples the
weak. It powers the strong."
...Lord Darth Scorn
"The strength of the Light Jedi is limited by his or her own personal skill. Thus, their
power is bound by their own personal limits and failings. But the power of a Dark Jedi is
not dependent on his or her own individual skill. Instead, the greater the Dark Jedi's
hatred, anger, and impatience the greater the Dark Jedi's power. The Dark Side feeds on
anger and hate. The more anger and hate you can harness, the more powerful you can
become. The best Light Jedi is no match for even the most novice of Dark Jedi..."
...Palpatine
"The snake that cannot cast its
skin perishes. So too with those minds which are
prevented from changing their views: they cease to
be minds."
"Talking much about oneself can also be a means
to conceal oneself."
"When any one thinks
much and to good purpose, not only his face but
also his body acquires a sage look."
"Fellowship in joy, and not sympathy in
sorrow, makes people friends."
"The growth of wisdom may
be gauged exactly by the diminution of ill-temper."
"Whoever does not know how to find the way to his
ideal, lives more frivolously and impudently than
the man without an ideal."
"Whoever knows he is deep, strives for clarity;
whoever would like to appear deep to the crowd,
strives for obscurity. For the crowd considers
anything deep if only it cannot see to the bottom:
the crowd is so timid and afraid of going into the
water."
...The Magus
"One should not dwell on what should, could or might be, but should concentrate their energies on what ~is~."
"A Jedi must have the Serenity to accept what they cannot change, the courage to change what they can, and the wisdom to know the difference."
...Yun Sunrunner
"To achieve greatness one must look from within."
"A Jedi should not concern himself with self gain. Only the Force."
"Some embrace the Dark...others become it."

...Falcon 24
"Truth is truth, but only to he who believes it."
"There is no greater strenth, weakness, birth, or death, which is stronger than the power of emotions."
"Where the Force is life itself, life can never condemn the Force."
"A Jedi's strenth relies upon the Force, and the Force relies upon the Jedi to reveal it's truth."
"Darkness and Light can only be deciphered by those who have embraced both."
...Luna Kenobi
Close your eyes -
See the light all around you, imense, never ending, encompassing everything, one with everything.
As it has been, is and will be, all as one love, hate, joy, sorrow, beings, life, empty planets,
stars, matter, gravity, places, different times, events... All make up this one feeling, like a
mosaic story, that is told all at once, as this is the only way it can be fully understood.
We are a small and a big part of this mosiac, on the same level and have the same influence as everything else.
There is a reason, it is everything, in everything. We are everything, and everything is us.
It asks us to treat it properly, to ever be mindful of morals when regarding it, to respect it, yet not worship it as anything important, as it has no significance, only existance. And what an existance!! It is so great, so wonderful, so beautiful.
Imagine the earth as one,
different people,
different cultures,
different objects,
different places,
and times
as one
it has a message that can only be heard as a whole
as a non-message,
as is the way with knowing the force/life and non-life,
Everything imaginable, and unimaginable.
Imagine this one solitary, wonderfullly diverse earth,
travelling around the sun through space, spinning on its axis
imagine the other planets gravitational pull, the interactions between the planets,
sometimes equal, sometimes unbalanced,
imagine this solar system orbiting the core of the galaxy,
interacting the gravitational and electromagnetic fields with other solar systems.
Imagine this galaxy orbiting with other galaxies around a central point, all journeying through space and time (which is endless, yet all at once, with
no meaning, only counted with the life and death of stars, planets and galaxies), imagine these groups of galaxies orbiting one another,
interacting with one another, change each others shape, different shapes, all unique. Imagine these supergroups of galaxies orbiting other supergroups of galaxies.
This is the universe we live in, we may never fully understand or know it, but we can feel it, and it can feel our point in space and time, existing,
ever mindful of what we do and how we interact with others. Allowing us to exist with it.
Life is a priviledge, not to be taken lightly, yet not to be thought of too seriously
to cherish, but not to cherise, as we are the universe, not the matter or the the time,
but have a bond with it, are one and are protected, while not physically,
but throughout all time and are preserved.
