What is Your Focus?

Is it focusing on the Light, the principles of Peace and Justice?

Are you one who thinks of Peace as allowing something to be swept under the rug...in order to silence a movement? Or Justice as a scenario in which two shake hands and forget the details?

If you answered yes to any one of these questions, then you are not holding the Jedi ideals. You are holding preconceptions based on your own opinion of how things, in your mind, needs to be done. And, if, indeed, you are a Jedi, you are especially not doing what is being demanded of you to do. You are falling...if not already fallen.

Mitth would speak of such a Jedi often during his tenure here. That of a Fallen Jedi.

Today, I would say many are Fallen Jedi. Practicing dogma that really has nothing to do with the Jedi ways. In fact, it brings them away from what they should be doing, what they should be advocating. And many are loosing focus of the Light because of it.

A Jedi must believe in the totality of the Light. One cannot compromise toward dimming the Light in any manner whatsoever. By doing so, one looses the power given by the Force. And they fail to act in a positive manner. In fact, as I take my stay away from the community at this time, I find myself not really missing anything. Simply because Darkness cannot create a positive atmosphere. Simply because Darkness is not being purged. It is being fed.

And when you feed on Darkness, you not only breed more Darkness...you become Darkness.

Instead of focusing on the latest rules constructed about how a Jedi should act here and there, focus on the basics. Focus on what a Jedi is about. Do not worry about how people see you. Don't even focus on the name itself. What matters is putting it into practice. If you do that, you will find yourself in greater circumstances.

So, I ask you Learner to do this. Fight for Peace and Justice. Don't fight for counterfeits...for the Dark has an arsenal full of them. Practice them to the point it becomes a habit. Do not accept or tolerate bad behavior. Confront it. And keep straight on the Path.
