Department Roles:
Principal (1):

Oversees the Jedi Academy at JEDI. The Principal ensures the Academy
with whatever it needs to survive, whether it is dealing with adequate
staff support, ensuring Instructors are teaching courses efficiently
and adequately, listening to direct concerns of Students and Faculty,
or taking care of unresolved issues. All Faculty personnel (including
Counselors, Instructors, and other academic positions) report directly
to the Principal.

Acts as the secondary overseers of the Jedi Academy at JEDI.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing new staff
applications alongside the Principal, as well as provding essential
assistance to the Principal. All Faculty personnel (including
Counselors, Instructors, and other academic positions) report directly
to the Vice Principals as well. It is imperative for each Vice
Principal to be assigned a specific task.

The Coordinator helps maintain, overview, revise, and create necessary
material essential for the progression of the Academy. This is needed
to adequately support the Faculty and Student Body with updated
documentation, as well as properly suiting the Principal and Vice
Principal's needs and concerns.
Website Administrator (1 or more):

Takes care of the technical side of the Academy. Sets up and maintains
visual/security concerns for the forums, website pages, E-mails, etc.
Directly deals with Faculty decisions and does what is possible to
uphold them with the constructs available. Also takes care of
techinical errors which may occur.

Manages all the records pertaining to the students. Responsibilities
include processing applications into the Academy, student placement,
maintenance of grades, and any other record-keeping issues. The
Registrar also periodically analyzes the archival of Academic records -
in order to suggest alternative means of organization. This ensures
better efficiency to the operation of the Academy. It is recommended to
either rotate this position every so often, or assign more than one at
a time.
Course Researcher (1 or more):

Attempts to supply Instructors with alternative links and information
as well as additional material for the various courses at the Academy,
such as lecture writings. The Researcher also reviews the curriculum to
ensure that the Academy is providing the most up-to-date material to
its Students.

Experienced members (from the Academy, JEDI, and the Jedi Community)
providing valuable assistance to the overall operation of the Academy.
They also act as liasons between the Academy and other communities
and/or sites. They are generally known as individuals who come once in
a while to provide key thoughts in particular senarios.

The head of the Counsel Team which represents the Student Body by
providing critical counseling services. The Head Counselor is necessary
in helping to organize the Counsel Team, and making sure they are able
to accurately inform the Faculty of the Student Body's needs and
concerns.

Represents the concerns and needs of the Students to the rest of the
Faculty. They also give counsel as to which course(s) each Student
should take (with respect to each Student's interest and past
performance in their particiular training method, be it Academy, Solo,
Traditional, or Praxeum). In consultation with Instructors, Counselors
may help decide who would serve best as Assistant Instructors, Tutors,
as well as Study Group Leaders.
Tutor (as many as needed):
None
Specific tutors which helps the Student Body with specific projects,
courses, and other needs. They can be key assistants to Instructors,
and may also be assigned to particular students with certain concerns.
Translator (if necessary):
None
Is able to translate any Academic material (from English to other
languages) for any students who need help in understanding the material
information in our Education Section and its courses. Also helps with
people who have vision or typing disabilities.

An Instructor objective is to teach Students within their particular
educational area of interest, all within a classroom setting. They may
also overlook Assistant Instructors, Student Helpers, or Tutors
assigned or appointed to their particular course(s).

Assistant Instructors aide Instructors in their courses by stepping-in
when necessary, providing additional research, as well as possibly
helping the further development of the courses themselves. They also
replace the Instructor if unexpected issues arise.
Solo Director (1):

The Solo Director oversees the Solo Training area and aids all enrolled
Solo Students. This is done by providing support as Students progress
on their individual paths. The Director also ensures Students are not
hindering their own ability to learn. Moreover, they provide a
safeguard for Students who's path may be considered dangerous to their
overall health.

The Solo Aide provides support for the Solo Director, specificly in
supervising the individual progression of Students within the Solo
Training area. May also provide specific support to individual Solo
Students.
Traditional Director (1):

The Traditional Director oversees the Traditional Training area,
including Traditional Mentors and Student Apprentices. They make sure
each training relationship is being conducted safely and productively,
acting as an advisor when necessary.

The Traditional Aide provides support for the Traditional Director,
specificly in supervising the training relationships within the
Traditional Training area. May also provide specific support to
individual relationships.

Mentors are those who have been accepted to train at least one Student
within the Traditional Method, according to an application and
interview process.
- Student Body -
Each Student accepted into the Academy is considered to be part of the
Student Body. The Student Body represents all of the training members
of the Academy, reguardless of method.
Student Roles:
Student Helper (if needed):
None
A particular Student who, after passing a course, agrees with the
Instructor to either (a) help with the current formation of the course
the Student has just passed or (b) help with the further creation of a
pariticular group of studies (i.e. Personal Studies) associated with
the course assigned.
Study Group Leader (if needed):
None
A chosen Student who leads the formation and progress of a particular
study group currently active. Must make sure to let the Faculty know
the general situation of the group whenever possible.
